CLP-23: RSA and Elliptic Curve Public Key Accelerator
Public key cryptography requires complex mathematical operations which are best accomplished through a dedicated co-processor in order to maximize performance. The CLP-23 implements the most computationally intensive part of the mathematics required for both RSA operations as well as the algorithms used in prime field Elliptic Curve Cryptography. When combined with the EllipsysTM software toolkit, the designer can accelerate the asymmetric cryptography required in public key algorithms with optimal offload of the embedded processor.
