CLP-100: Flow-Through Hash Core

The CLP-100 Flow-Through Hash Core offers designers the ability to stream a message into the core directly from a MAC or other streaming interface and compute the cryptographic hash or digest which is then presented on the output FIFO. The core can be configured with one or more hash algorithms depending on the target application.

Key Features:

  • Core capable of performing MD5, SHA-1, SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384 & SHA-512 hash algorithms.
    • SHA algorithms compliant with FIPS 180-2
    • MD5 algorithm compliant with RFC 1312
  •  Implicit message padding is automatically handled by the core.
  •  Core will truncate the final hash if required.
  •  Flow-through or in-line core with two FIFOs – message input and digest output
    • configurable widths and depths for message and digest FIFOs
  • Core is highly configurable and verified for any subset of the supported algorithms

  • Data deduplication (dedup or dedupe) for storage
